I serve customers all over Kansas City and the surrounding area and I am thrilled that I was able to turn my passion and joy of baking into an online bakery where customers can order their favorite sweets and desserts online.

Catherine's Story
Hello Sweets! I'm Catherine, the owner, baker, and sweet-treat-maker at Frosted. I'm a southern girl at heart - I am from Fort Worth, Texas - living in the Midwest. I live in Kansas City with my wonderful husband Todd and let's just say he is the reason Frosted by Catherine came to life!

In November of 2020, I had the bright idea to make my husband a cake for his 50th birthday, at that time I had NEVER baked a cake in my life!! It took some convincing but I eventually got Todd to purchase my first mixer and went to work.
I made a 3-layer Chocolate Oreo Cake and it was probably the ugliest cake I'd ever seen but it tasted DELICIOUS!! I thought to myself, "I should keep practicing". I immersed myself in blogs and videos and taught myself the ins and outs of cake decorating.
In January of 2021, I made my first cake for a friend and began getting requests from others. On April 1, 2021, Frosted by Catherine was born.
